The Rwanda Share Index climbed 3.69% during the month of October, as the RSE ALSI also climbed 0.49% between the period of 29th September and 31st October.
In the 31-day period, Bralirwa was the biggest gainer climbing 8.00%. On a year-to-day basis however the stock is down 3.57%.
Other gainers during the period were Bank of Kigali and I&M Bank, rising 1.79% and 1.06% respectively.
Only four stocks traded during the month, with I&M Bank dominating the market as the counter moved 900,100 shares for a turnover of FRw 85.63 million.
Bralirwa, Bank of Kigali and Crystal teecom recorded turnovers of FRw 71.6 million, FRw 55.4 million and FRw 5.81 million from trading 559,100 shares, 201,100 shares and 85,400 shares respectively.
